FELLOWSHIP: sound-guided art-making workshop

In conjunction with their ongoing exhibition, Devotion, Dreams, and Destiny, VILLAGER invites you to FELLOWSHIP —a sound-guided community art-making workshop program that embraces and activates sound as a transformative container for expanding capacity for self-expression, artistic exploration, and intuitive listening.

During this workshop, VILLAGER will guide participants into the energetically harmonious environment of the exhibition using an assortment of rhythm and percussion instruments, accompanied by vocal recordings to create an immersive soundscape that encourages the activation of deep inner imagery. This mindfulness and meditative practice invites you to connect with your memory & senses through sounds, and channel them through creative expression–transforming them into creative expression in a communal setting

FELLOWSHIP is a special offering inspired by the works in the exhibition, and designed to encourage reflection, meditation, and honest expression for everyone 18+ and up, regardless of art-making experience. VILLAGER will facilitate and guide participants in creating in this communal setting, and participants will be provided with all materials needed. Participants will leave with a piece of artwork that reflects their experience and their innate connection to their inner and outer worlds.
